How We Stand Behind Our Parts

Your trust means a lot to US. Since every MadMan Wrench Works component is custom built, there are a few important details around warranty, returns, and liability. Please take a moment to read through this so you know exactly what to expect when you ride with our gear.

A Note from the madman himself

I’m a rider first and a small business owner second. Every part that leaves my shop has my name and reputation on it, and I don’t take that lightly.

Because these are custom, made-to-order parts, I have to be really clear about what’s covered, what isn’t, and the risks that come with modifying your bike. I want you to have all the information you need to make the right decision for you.

1) MadMan Wrench Works – Limited Warranty & Returns Policy

1. Overview

MadMan Wrench Works, LLC (“MadMan Wrench Works,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) designs and fabricates custom, made-to-order components for powersports vehicles. Because each part is manufactured to order and built to spec, all sales are final, subject only to the limited warranty described below and any rights you may have under applicable law.

By placing an order, you agree to this Limited Warranty & Returns Policy, our Legal Notice, and any other terms presented at checkout.

2. Limited Warranty – Materials & Workmanship

We stand behind the quality of our parts. MadMan Wrench Works provides a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

During this warranty period, if a product is found, in our reasonable judgment, to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use, we will, at our option:

  • Repair the product, or

  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable part, or

  • Provide store credit in an amount not to exceed the original purchase price of the product (excluding shipping, taxes, and fees).

This limited warranty is available only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not cover, and we are not responsible for, any damage, failure, or issues arising from:

  • installation, including and not limited, failure to follow our installation guides, torque specifications, and inspection intervals

  • Installation by an unqualified person or shop

  • Use outside intended or normal operating conditions (including racing, stunts, competition use, or extreme off-road use unless explicitly stated as such)

  • Modifications, drilling, trimming, cutting, or other alterations to the product not specified in the install guide

  • Use with incompatible parts, accessories, or non-OEM mounting points

  • Cosmetic wear, scratches, chips, fading, or other normal wear and tear

  • Impact damage, collision, road hazards, curbs, speed bumps, debris, or environmental exposure beyond normal riding conditions

  • Abuse, misuse, neglect, or failure to inspect and maintain the product regularly

This warranty also does not cover:

  • Any labor costs, installation or removal costs

  • Loss of use, loss of time, towing, rental vehicles, or any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages

  • Any alleged effects on handling, stability, or comfort, as vehicle dynamics depend heavily on rider behavior, load, road conditions, and other factors outside our control.

4. Returns & Cancellations

Because all MadMan Wrench Works products are custom, made-to-order components:

  • All sales are final once production has begun.

  • No returns are accepted for change of mind, aesthetic preferences, or improper ordering (e.g., incorrect model/year) unless required by law.

  • Order cancellations may only be possible before fabrication has started. Once material has been cut, shaped, or otherwise processed for your order, the sale is final.

If you believe you placed an order in error, contact us immediately at madmanwrenchworks@gmail.com with your order number and details. We’ll let you know if your order is still eligible for any adjustment.

5. Shipping Damage or Wrong Item Received

If your order arrives damaged in transit or you believe you received the wrong item:

  1. Do not install the product.

  2. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at madmanwrenchworks@gmail.com

  3. Include:

    • Your order number

    • Photos of the packaging and the product

    • A brief description of the issue

We’ll review the information and may work with the carrier and/or arrange a repair, replacement, or store credit where appropriate. Failure to notify us within this timeframe may limit our ability to assist.

6. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a possible warranty claim, please email: madmanwrenchworks@gmail.com with:

  • Your full name and order number

  • Photos or video clearly showing the issue

  • A description of:

    • How the part was installed

    • How the bike is used (street, track, off-road, etc.)

    • When the issue first appeared

We may request additional information, photos, or proof of installation. If we determine the issue is covered under this limited warranty, we will provide next steps for repair, replacement, or store credit.

You are responsible for shipping the product back to us, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MadMan Wrench Works’ total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to its products is limited to the original purchase price of the product at issue.

We are not liable for:

  • Personal injury or property damage resulting from improper installation, use, or operation

  • Any incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages (including loss of time, loss of use, or loss of enjoyment), even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Agreement & Updates

By purchasing, installing, or using MadMan Wrench Works products, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Limited Warranty & Returns Policy and our Legal Notice.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
